Self-initiated project, Completed in an art residency

This kinetic sculpture was made during an art residency at the Story of Space festival in Panjim, Goa India in 2017. It was exhibited at NH7 Weekender, a music festival in Pune, India.

This kinetic sculpture was inspired by the movement of flocks of birds and schools of fish. It used stepper motors controlled through a program to create various movement patterns.

Drawings

Designs were cut on 3mm thick white acrylic sheets using a laser-cutting machine. Designs for cutting were designed in adobe illustrator.
